Legal notice

TradeX Academy is an online training academy. All content on this site (courses, texts, videos, graphics, logos and code) is strictly educational and protected by intellectual and industrial property rights. Reproduction, distribution, public communication or transformation without the owner’s express written authorisation is prohibited.

Access to the platform is personal and non-transferable. Sharing credentials, or downloading content in order to redistribute or resell it, is a serious breach and entitles us to cancel access without a refund, without prejudice to any applicable legal action.

The owner is not liable for the use the user makes of the content, nor for damages arising from improper use of the platform. We reserve the right to modify the site’s content and conditions at any time.

Privacy policy

What we process and why: (a) registration data (name and email) to create and manage your student account, on the legal basis of contract performance; (b) purchase data (course, amount, date and payment method) to process payment, issue the invoice and meet our tax obligations; (c) course progress data to show your advancement, streak and issue certificates; (d) your email to send you account and course communications and — with your consent — academy news, which you may withdraw at any time.

Processors and recipients: we do not sell or share your data for commercial purposes. We work with providers acting as data processors: Supabase (database hosting and authentication), Resend (transactional email), Stripe (payment processing; we never store your card details) and Vercel (web hosting). Some may host data outside the EEA, always under appropriate GDPR safeguards.

Retention: we keep your data while your account is active. When you delete it, we erase your personal data except what we must retain by law (for example invoices, for the applicable tax periods).

Your rights: you may request access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability by writing to support@tradex-academy.es. You may also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).

Cookies: we only use the technical cookies needed to keep you signed in and remember your preferences (language, theme). We use no advertising or third-party profiling cookies.

Terms and conditions of purchase

Product: online training courses in trading and investing, organised in three levels. Each course is bought with a single payment granting a personal, non-transferable, lifetime access licence to that course, including future updates to its content.

Prices and payment: prices are shown in euros with applicable taxes included. Payment is made by card via Stripe. Access is activated immediately and automatically once payment is confirmed, and you will receive the invoice by email.

Requirements: you must be of legal age and have an internet connection and an up-to-date browser. Access is tied to your student account; sharing credentials is prohibited.

Nature of the service: the training is strictly educational. TradeX Academy does not provide financial advice or portfolio management, is not registered as an advisory entity with the CNMV, and never recommends specific trades nor guarantees results.

Changes: we may update these terms. The version applicable to your purchase is the one in force at the time you make it.

Governing law: these terms are governed by Spanish law. Where consumer regulations allow, the courts of the consumer’s domicile shall have jurisdiction.

Withdrawal and refunds

As a consumer you have the right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 calendar days without justification, under Spanish Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007 (Consumer Protection Act).

Legal exception for digital content: as this is digital content with immediate access, the right of withdrawal is lost once performance has begun with your prior express consent and your acknowledgement that you consequently lose that right (art. 103.m). That is why you are asked to tick that acceptance explicitly before completing payment.

In practice: if you have not accessed the course content after purchase, you may request a full refund within 14 days by writing to support@tradex-academy.es with your purchase email. We will refund via the original payment method within a maximum of 14 days from accepting the request.

Regardless of the above, if the service does not work as described (for example a technical issue preventing access that we cannot resolve), you are entitled to a refund. Write to us and we will sort it out.

Complaints: you may address any complaint to support@tradex-academy.es. The European Commission also provides an online dispute resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

TradeX Club subscription

The TradeX Club is an optional monthly membership, entirely separate from the courses. Subscribing requires having previously purchased at least one course.

The membership renews automatically each month, charged to the same payment method, until the user cancels it. Every charge generates its corresponding invoice, sent by email to the account holder.

Cancellation: you may cancel at any time and by yourself, from the Settings section of your classroom, with no justification required and without contacting us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid for: you keep the member benefits until that date and no further charge is made. The proportional part of the current period is not refunded, as the service remained available.

Cancelling the membership does not affect the purchased courses in any way; they keep their lifetime access along with the progress and certificates obtained.

Price changes: any variation in the amount will be communicated by email far enough in advance to allow cancellation before it becomes applicable.

Risk warning

Trading in financial markets (Forex, commodities, stocks, ETFs and cryptocurrencies) involves a high level of risk and may not be suitable for every investor profile. There is a real possibility of losing part or all of the invested capital.

TradeX Academy’s content is educational and informational. It does not constitute financial, tax or investment advice, nor a recommendation to buy or sell any financial instrument.

Past results, our own or others’, do not guarantee future results. Any example, backtest or result shown in the courses is for teaching purposes and is not a promise of returns.

Before trading with real money, assess your financial situation, experience and risk tolerance, and never invest money you cannot afford to lose. Seek independent professional advice if you need it.
